rosie is about 1.5 years old. she quit eating 2 days ago, she keeps triing to eat but cant so i took her to the vet they found alot of food packed in her mouth.they couldnt get it all out from under her teeth and cant diagnose her with anything.does this sound like something you have heard of?her teeth are fine oh ya and she has diahrea.

I have done a bit of research for you. One of my piggies, Barney had exactly the same problem some time ago where he was eating but then regurgatating the food so it was stuck in his mouth, just as you describe.

My vet gave him an injection and that cured the problem overnight. I have just called my vet and the drug was called metroclopramide. I have done a google search of this and it is described as a drug to help with gastric reflux so I am sure that is the right one.

I suggest you call your vet and suggest that as a possible way forward. I really hopes that helps.

In the mean time you do need to get food into Rosie, perhaps by syringe feeding her. This is especially important as she is losing fluid due to diarreah.
