will the father eat his own babies?

when my guinea pig gets pregnant again and goes into labour and has her babies is it safe too keep the dad in the same cage or will he eat his babies?and also my guinea pig went into labour last night and gave birth to 2 dead  babies.....how should she lay when she is in labour...?

Guinea pigs dnt eat babies but you should remove the father so that he cant get the mother pregnant again.

I have never seen a birth myself but having seen videos they seem to stand while they give birth. Sadly, still born babies are very common.
