possible cyst

Hi,
My guinea pig is less than 3 years old and I noticed last week he has a dime sized bald spot on his back with 2 little bumps.  The hair around the area is sticky.  This area is about an inch and a half above his rectum, so I don't think it's his glands.

Hmm, it could be a number of things. Does he live alone? Has he ever been treated for mites?

It could be a burst abscess or cyst. A visit to a cavy savy vet is in order.
