year old pregnant pig!

About eleven months ago I bought a female guinea pig. Then we got another about a week later. About a month ago they should some concerning behavior (mating stuff). Now I believe that the second one we got is a boy and that the other is pregnant. She tries to bite me whenever i get near her stomach ,but she has long fluffy hair that hides her shape so its hard to see if she is becoming pear shaped.

I need to know if she is pregnant. And I read that guinea pigs die in child birth if they are older than six months. Is this true and if so is there anything I can do to save her if she is indeed pregnant? Please answer back soon!

I would not beleive that this is true
Guinea Pigs should normally be bred before they reach the age of 10-12 months so dont worry to much about that
She should be fine
