guinea pigs birth

Hi,
I have a pregnant guinea pig, and i can already feel the movement of the babies in her stomach. the father passed away a couple weeks ago, is this a problem? Also, she does not have vitamin C in her water. i have been giving her apples and other veggies occasionally. should i go buy her some liquid vitamin C?

Obviously its sad that the father has died but in some ways it solves a problem because there will be no more babies now, so no problem on that score.

As long as you continue to provide plenty of hay and veggies the mother will be fine I'm sure.
