Question
QUESTION: Hi Andy

It's me kelly again and I need help with Billy I still am working on taming them of course and Eddie is doing great I can hold him but he is still a little nervous but Billy is not doing that well

I can not hold him!!!!

I have tried everywhere and they all say hold him every day on your lap and they will get used to you soon but I can't even pet him if I touch him he will jump, run or turn around and he looks like he is going to bite but he never does

What I can do is get him to eat out of my name and he will come up to my hand and sniff it but I can not touch him let alone pet him

hope you have an idea

thanks

Kelly

ANSWER: Hi Kelly

I still think that you need to keep persisting. It may take months!

Like I said before, some pigs never become tame and you have to respect them for being a bit "wild" in nature.

QUESTION: Hello

I am glad to say I found away to hold Billy during floor time what I do is put a towel over him wrap him in it and pick him up and he is perfect

i was just wondering if you had any idea (if you don't that's ok) to make the switch from having a towel on his head when im holding him to him not having one

thanks

Answer
Hi Kelly

Well done. to be honest, I should have thought about that myself!

I guess its just trial and error. When you think Billy is comfortable, try him without after a while. Let me know how you get on. Between us, we may be able to help other piggy owners.
