how to tell if happy

I was wondering how do you know if your piggy is happy or not .The reason i ask is because i just got my first guinea pig named her dreamer i hold her and cuddle up with her alot but she don't seem to like me much when ever i try to take her ou of her cage to play with her she hides from me and she don't really make much noise either am I doing something wrong?
i would appreciate any help

The first thing I would say is that you need to give dreamer time to settle in and get used to you. She is probably a little scared in her new surroundings.

Keep talking to her and handling her gently and she will be fine I am sure.

Guinea pigs make their lovely squeaking noises called "wheeking" when they are happy. However, if your pig never makes a noise this doesnt mean she isnt happy, just that she isnt a very vocal pig.
