Question
Hi i am from London UK, we brought two female piggy about a month ago and today have got up and we have a baby in the cage, also a dead one. The thing is that we have two females in the cage. Do i have to remove the other one and just keep the mother and baby on there own or can i leave it until i can find out if the baby is a boy or girl. There is no problem with the cold as it is a indoor cage.

Thank You

Answer
Hi David

I am in Sheffield.

Its perfectly fine to keep the two adult females with the baby. They will probably share the mothering duties.

You need to find out the sex of the baby at 3 weeks of age really as a boy can be sexually mature very early.
