My guinea pig likes stuffed animals.

Hello there,
I just got my Guinea pig! He is such a joy to me, however at times he seems to worry me. I bought him many toys at the pet store. He refuses to play with any of them, however he likes to play with my stuffed animals. Today he was biting on an easter bunny i had, and ate some of the plastic whiskers. I am scared that he will get hurt so I dont know what to do, on the other hand I dont want to take the joy from him. Also I was interested if it was ok at times to give him fresh grass, and to use it as bedding?

Hello Anja,
If you want to give your guinea pig plush animals you can buy some that are safe with no plastic and just stuffed plush. :) Also you can use grass for bedding and fresh grass is good as well. If you want to use potting soil try using organic potting soil or the soil for reptiles at Petstores.
