New guinea pig humping other.

Question
My new guinea pig Spike is about two months old or so and he humps my other one, Prickle. I introduced them after Prickles brother died because he was lonely and didn't eat so much. I know that humping is completely normal in guinea pigs but I discovered last night that Spike leaves a white hard substance on Prickles fur when he's done! At first I thought they got into a glue stick since I found it on Spikes belly before. It is very much like dried up glue and it looks semi-clear when it's dry. Prickle doesn't like the humping but he doesn't seem to do much about it and only swings his head at Spike when he tries to take what he has (water, food right from his mouth) Will I have to neuter Spike? This problem is quite embarrassing since my parents aren't very open minded and I don't want them to think Spike is 'gay' or something. The humping has lasted about 2 or 3 weeks.

Answer
Hi Hillary

I received your feedback so I thought I would just say that the humping should calm down quite shortly as prickle seems quite content that spike is the boss pig.
