hi, i was wondereing, if these signs mean my sow is pregnant, she is getting bigger then i thought she would, she is a little aggresive to the boar, i.e she wont let him in the box they have shared and she stands on top of the box like he is a slave to her

Hello Chelsea and thanks for the question,

It surely sounds like she is expecting. If they got along well and this is a sudden change yet she is not ill (her size increase is a good indicator of health), she might be pregnant. A female will most often become easily annoyed by a male and by human contact when she is about 1-2 weeks from giving birth. Gently feel her stomach for hard bulbous protrusions. What you should do is seperate the male and the female until she has had and weened her babies. From birth, babies should be seperated from their mothers at about 4-5 weeks of age.
