Piggy with ear infection

My guiney pig was diagnosed by a vet as having an ear infection.  Simptoms included head tilting, and falling over/loss of balance.  I was given ear drops.  Now, a week later, he's got most balance back, but he now does a weird running in circles dance, doesn't make any sounds (he was very vocal pre-sickness), and seems week.  Is this par for the course?  Or should I return to the vet?

The key thing is, is he eating and drinking properly?

I still think your pig is in the recovery stages of the infection, so I would just monitor the situation for another week and if no improvement, a return to the vet might be a good idea.
