i think my guinea pig is to young to be pregnant.

Question
HI ,
i not entirly sure but I think my pregnant guinea pig is 5months old. Is that to
young for her to be pregnant? She is quite small but I think she might be a
small breed of guinea pig. What can I do to decrease the chances of her and
her babies dying? Also what can i do to keep my other 3 piigs entertained.
They run about every day and I always give them hugs but they must get a bit
bored.

Dear Anya,
Don't worry! You timed it perfectly. Your sow is at the perfect age to have her first litter.  Just make sure that you take good care of her while she's pregnant and give her everything she needs and you should be fine.Also make sure you take her to the vet so he/she can make sure that the babies are healthy and developing correctly.
  As for your other pigs, they are probably more entertained than you think. Guinea pigs sleep for anout 5-10 hours during the day so they will be fine. But if you are interested, pet stores have lots of guinea pig toys and other fun things to make sure your pets are living the good life.Thanks for the great question!
