Question
do guinea pigs have baby teeth? because my gps top two teeth are loose and i think she broke them. she does not drink water out of the bottle like she used to and she wont eat hard food i took a look at them and thay are wiggly and were the gum and the tooth connect itis sperated and if she did brake them  should i take her to the vet and if i do will thay fix her teeth.

Answer
she probably broke her teeth. unlike humans that have baby teeth that fall out, guinea pigs teeth are constantly growing and the only way to keep them down is to keep chewing treats and food. She is not eating because of the fact that her teeth are loose. The vet will have to cut them down for her to feel more comfortable, but she still may not eat until her teeth grow back to normal, but the vet will cut them down to where the bottom teeth don't over grow the top teeth and start to cause even more problems.
