Pigs hate their new food!

Hi Andy,
I have two pigs, one 2yrs old and 6 months old.  We live on an island where
it's hard to get them fresh pellets (the pet store here sells plain guinea pig
pellets in a bin-- no telling what brand or how old they are).  They like the
stuff from the bin though.  I was worried they aren't getting any vitamins if
their food isn't very fresh, so I ordered Oxbow Cavy Cuisine on the internet.  
It's supposed to have stabilized vitamin C and be really good for them.  They
hate it.  They won't eat it, and they tip the bowl over and leave it on the
ground in frustration.  I tried mixing the old and new food, but they just tip it
over and pick out the pellets of the old food.  Is there something else that's
healthy that I can order for them, or should I just feed them the old kind and
keep giving them vitamin C supplements?  They also get hay and a few fresh
vegetables every day.

What naughty piggies you have!

The other popular brand is Gertie Guinea pig, but if you are giving vitamin suppliments and fresh veggies each day then they should be getting plenty of vitamins. You might be as well using the standard pellet so as not to frustrate you little guys further.
