Cyst

Question
My guinea pig is 2 years old, and we recently took it into the vet to check on a sebaceous cyst that has been there about nine months.  We have a surgical removal of the golf-sized cyst planned for tomorrow morning, but I was just wondering whether or not you knew how dangerous it is.  I've been searching on the internet for survival rates, etc, but I couldn't find anything, and it would really put me  at ease if you knew how good her chances are.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Allison

Your guinea pig should be ok if it is under the hands of a vet the chances of survival are high but this may not be exactely right if you are worried then talk to you vet and ask them this question but otherwise things should be ok

Good Luck Allison
Hope things go ok
