Problem eating

Question
Our 4 yr old gp stopped eating and drinking. Took him to the vet-gave him general anaesthetic, ground back teeth, clipped front. Next day took him back, nuzzling at food but not picking up. Vet gave pain killer. Now bank holiday monday - have given 4 days of "recovery" sachet food plus water plus a vitamin supplement. No pooh, not eating. Plese help

you have done the best thing in getting your vet to help and giving recovery.
What is the consistancy of the recovery? it needs to be quite firm.
Cut some cucumber into thin strips and try to get this into him as it contains lots of water.Try grass too, you may need to feed it into his mouth,remember his cheeks and tongue will be still sore
Do you have any other guinea pigs?
