what my guinea pig should not eat! can i give it a bath, and what shamppo should i use,

Hi Lisa,
Do not feed your guinea-pig apple or potato.
Apples have acid in them and can damage the area around the mouth and potato's have a poisony substance that guinea-pigs can not eat.
You CAN give your guinea-pig a bath, make sure that the water is not too cold and not too hot.
You have to buy shampoo specially designed for guinea-pigs and small animals.
You can buy this at your local petstore.
DO NOT attempt to use human shampoo or shampoo for any other animal.
