My GP seems sad

My guinea pig Ziggy is almost 4 years old, deaf and a runt.I have two other GPs and they are normal. I love Zig just as much as either of my others. They are not caged together because they are all a year apart and are not too friendly with one another. Anyway, when I hold Zig, she shakes and sheds A LOT! The otherss don't. NO matter how much I hold her , she still does it. I have tried holding her ing different positions, firmer, I don't know what else to do?

Being deaf and pretty old, Ziggy may just be disorientated and scared, try only holding her in the same place and same way each time you hold her so that she is familiar with her surroundings and comfortable

Has she always done this??

I do not know what would bring something on like this, unless she only just recently became deaf.

How long has she been deaf ?

Just try what I said up there ^ for a few weeks, If there is no change in her behavior let me know, as she may be sick.
