Neutered boar of 2 weeks got in with sow

Hi,I have a 17 week old boar who was neutered on May 9th, I split the run into 2 so he could get to know the sow through the mesh, I was watching them interact this afternoon, until a friend came round, at that point i went in for about half an hour, on return i found charlie had got in with toffee, i don't know how he managed it???? I am now concerned that they have mated, toffee is 13 months old, (aware that she can't deliver)i don't know if she is in heat either (any ways of telling?). What are the chances she got pregnant as Charlie was neutered 2 weeks ago now?????
I was going to give them a supervised run around together daily at the 3 week point, but wait to put them together at 4 weeks. Can you advise please

Hi Paula

I cant give you odds but there is a possibility tha they have mated. One indication of mating is a white waxing object near the sow that happens after intercourse, but this isnt always present. If you find one, they have mated. Other than that, it will be a case of weighing the girl each day to see if she gains weight.
