Guinea Pigs and People Allergies

Question
People who have animal allergies in general, would they be allergic to Guinea pigs?

Some are and some are not allergic to guinea pigs, it depends on what you are allergic to, if hair is the problem then yes, unless you get a hairless guinea pig, some guinea pigs do also have dander. I have known though a lot of people that have not been allergic to guinea pigs that are allergic to other animals. Let me know if you have any more questions.
