Old Pregnant Piggy

Hi,

my piggy is pregnant and is about 4 years old. The pregnancy wasn't planned and it happened by mistake. It's  about a week and a half until she gives birth. What will happen to her and her babies? If she dies right after birth, do you think the babies will be okay without her, and her milk? I don't know what to do. Thank-You

There is a higher possibility of your guinea dying, you could take her to the vet to get her operated on but that may put her under pressure. If your guinea does die it is best to get her babies another sow who can feed them milk, otherwise you will have to feed the babies milk every few hours. If you do have to feed them milk add a little bit of cream to it which a vet told me. I would advise taking your guinea to the vet though as he/she may be able to prevent your guinea from dying.
