wont drink water

I just got my guinea pig a few days a go and she seems to have a problem with drinking water. Instead of drinking water she just shakes the water bottle. I did give her some water through an eye dropper but I dont know what else to do. Any answers for my problem?

Have you checked to make sure the water bottle is working properly. Sometimes the water bottle can get stopped up. Your guinea pig may also just be acting very silly as well. At work there was a chinchilla that would always lay on top of his water bottle. Is she at least drinking some water and eating her food? Does she drink out of the dropper?
