My guinea pig has bitten her cage mate on the ear, and she is very aggressive. we are worried for her cage mate. what can we do to make her calmer and more playful?

Hello Naomi!
I suggest waiting it out as a lot of guinea pigs will expierience mood changes for 2-3 weeks once or twice in thier life.
Try having a supervised play-time between the two. Make a fun little 'playground' filled with an empty toilet paper roll, a crumpled peice of blank paper and other toys!
I promise she will get happier though!
