Guinea pigs teeth

Our guinea pigs are 8 weeks old,one of our guinea pigs has a white dry patch on his one ear,which is causing him to itch.Do i need to take him to a vet? Also i would like to know how often do guinea pig's teeth need trimming.

I would say taking it to the vet as I hav no clue what this might be, guinea pigs dont get dry skin on there ears like that.
Guinea pig teeth only need trimming if they are overgrown. After that they need trimmings each time there teeth grow over. Teeth are like hair, the more you shave it the faster it grows.
