Peeing issues

Question
We just got a guinea pig about a month ago and I have never had one before. Why does she always pee on JUST me? My boyfriend will hold her for anywhere from a half hour to an hour, and the second I hold her, she pees on me! She pees on my everytime I hold her.

I used to have rats and they peed on the people that they liked, supposedly, I am not so certain this is the case. Do you have any idea?

Guinea pigs usually give warning before they pee on their owner by biting your clothes or wriggling.

The explanation for you though is the sudden movement from being moved from your boyfriend to you causes her to pee. This would make sense unless you sometimes hold her first and then pass her to your boyfriend, in which case I am as confused as you are. I can tell you piggies dont just pee on the people they like but pee when they need to.

Perhaps you could consider the idea above and come back to me with more details so we can find a solution to your problem.
