guinea pig turning in circles

Our friend just brought her guinea pig over with a health concern. The guinea pig continually turns in clockwise circles and her eyes are rapidly moving around.

Answer
Most likely it is an inner ear infection, which will require antibiotics from a vet. She also could be going into seizures from mites also. Garlic liquid in her ears will help ease some of the discomfort if that is the problem, but either way it will need vet treatment. Inner ear infections can spread and eventually cause seizures also if not treated and are very painful for a guinea pig. Let me know if you have any more questions.
