Question
well both of my females have been pregnant once before they had gotten out of their box and were loose in my room so my dad and i built them a large house outside out of wire and the have hay they really like it they have tunnels going throughout it well before that gizmo had two babies i assume pretty close together because when i found them under my dresser one still had the sack over its head and she was working with the other so my dad got the sack off and it still couldn't catch its breath the other was doing fine but i woke up the next mourning and the others back leg was eaten i took it to dad crying asking if we could save it he said he didn't think so and said we should keep it from suffering any more. then we built the thing outside and just yesterday Myia had three babies all half the size of the other two and they didn't even have fur im gonna make a add on to separate the male from the females every time i think one of them is pregnant and ill take them to the vet when they start looking big do you have any extra advice for me?

Answer
I would not breed this female again at all and separate the male and female from eachother. It sounds like this female is inbred, or the male is, this causes cleft palet and deformed babies. This problem can not be stopped and the mother will keep having deformed babies which will be dead at birth or only survive a week. It is also not healthy for a guinea pig to give birth so often. If you put the male and female in a different cage, or use a divider in the cage you have now, the female should have one more set of babies and then be done.
