Help with mites on the Guinea Pig

Hi Laura, My step-daughter has a guinea pig, and it looks like it has mites. Is this contagious to other aminals? My step-daughter also said that we had to bleach the cage daily while treating the guinea pig. Is this true? Is there anything else you could suggest? We called a vet, but we don't have the $500.00 to see the vet, and they will not give us any clue on what to do without seeing the guinea pig. New England vets are expensive. Thanks, Ken

Be sure to read all the information they have about mites and Ivermectin and other treatments. It should clear the mites up.

I have folowed this advice from Guinea Lynx myself and it worked for my piggies.
