My piggy!

Dear Andy,
  I have just got a new guinea pig, her name is Jazzy.  I had got Jazzy from one of my friends, (her female had babies).  Now that she is at my house she doesn't act extremely comfortable.  She eats normally, but she isn't drinking out of her bottle a lot, I see her take a drink only every once in a while.  She also is very calm, she doesn't act hyper or anything.  She won't run around her cage and just stays in her igloo unless I take her out.  Please help me with answering why she is like this and how can I make her more comfortable.

You have to remember that Jazzy is getting used to her new home so she probably will be a little timid for a while.

Keep handling her gently and giving her favourite treats and I'm sure she will become more tame as time passes.
