Question
Do you have any tips for a new cavy breeder?Like which ACAA breed is the easiest for a girl just started middle school?

Answer
Hello,
-Do not breed guineas that are over 8 months.
-They are preganat for 2 months.
-Feed extra vitimin c while pregnant.
-20% of the time guineas may have problems.
-You can feel the young at 4 weeks of pregnancy.
-The young can eat within about 2 days of birth so for the first few weeks graound the food into smaller pieces.
-The boys and girls will need to be separated after 6 weeks(when weaning finishes.)
-Do not in-breeed.
-After birth there may be blood in the cage but that is O.K, clean and freshen bedding at about 3 days after.
- you can hold babies about 1 day after so they can gat used to their mother.
Best wishes
