I want another guinea pig for my lonely single male pig. I am afraid they will fight and they cannot live together but I will not put them in seperate cages since it too much work. How will I get them used to eachother and live in the same cages together even if I have to start with them living apart?

Answer
First, get a YOUNG male...4 weeks or so....keep him quarantined for at least 3 weeks...introduce them on NEUTRAL GROUND....such as the floor, bed, couch...anywhere but the cage!

They will fight some, and it should take some time...if the cage is big enough, it should work!!
