skinny

hi. my skinny pig died last night, and i'm trying to figure out what could have happened.  he was still a baby only a month old or so. i changed my bedding a few nights ago to pine, but up until last night he seemed fine. he was making noises in the night, but he and my guinea pig do this most nights so i didn't think anything of it. this morning i woke up and he had died. i'm wondering about his fruit stick. i put a new one in 2 days ago and he had already eaten about half of it, and he is the one that is always eating it. i read that gas can kill them, and the way he was lying was on his side with his feet sticking straight out.  i just don't know what could have killed him so suddenly.  thanks for your help.  britt

I don't think you should worry yourself about your guinea, you will just upset yourself. I am not sure what could have killed your guinea, maybe he was just ill or maybe he wasn't feeding from his mum properly so was starving.
