4 month piggy

Hi! I have a piggy that is about 4 months and he chews on everything. sometime he chomps my fingers, wrist or hands. He bit one of my friends too.  He lives by himself, but i hold him a million times a day.  I had Guinea Pigs when i was younger and i never remember them biting ever. what do u think the problem is? get back to me if you can! Unfortunatly some piggies are just natural chewers. However, the younger ones can have a tendacy to bite. It is certainly possible that he will eventually grow out of it. Around one year of age he should calm down. There may be other causes as well, like that he isn't comfortable. I have a guinea pig who nips at my fingers when she wants to go back to her cage. Also make sure that his coat looks healthy. If there are any bald spots or ares where he always bits at and itches, it is possible he has mites or lice. This would really make him nippy.
