Nibbling

Question
I got a piggy from the petshop and I would pick him up and feed him to tame him. I often fed him baby arrots because he really liked them. Now he is tame but he will sniff and nibble on my fingers even when I have nothing on them and no food. Is it because I hand fed baby carrots. Or does he need more sodium. How can I stop this behavior?

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi tamara,
Nibbling could mean a number of things.
It could just be a sign of affection or he might be hungry still.
It could also be because of the carrots.
Try feeding him BEFORE you pick him up and see if there is a difference in behaviour.
