Guinea Pig Spots

My Guinea Pig Baxter is about two years old and when I went to cut his nails yesterday I noticed he has three or four bald spots with sores. Each of the spots are between the size of a quarter and a half dollar. I live in a very small town and the only vet that can see him can't get him in for a week and I am wondering what to do or what the problem could be. Can you help me?

I am sorry but I cannot help you with this question, I think you should wait untill the vet arrives. You could try changing your guineas bedding as he may be reacting to that. Also you could wash your guineas feet gently in warm water as the spots may be itchy.
