not eating or chewing wood

QUESTION: i have a guinea pig who is about 12 weeks old and she was actually really small wen i got her about 2 weeks ago she only weighed 8 ounces and she has grown alot.. but there is a problem she is not eating or chewing on the wood that we have bought for her we have bought alot of the wood ka bobs and she has not chewed any of them y not??

Your piggy not chewing the wood isnt a problem really other than a waste of a bit of money. Some pigs chew them, some dont. Just make sure you keep giving regular supplies of hay to keep the teeth healthy.

QUESTION: could the fact that one of her teeth on the top is a little longer than the other maybe it is bothering her bc she seems to grind her teeth alot.. is that normal?? and she does not like to eat alot like she did at first wen i got her would getting her a friend help???

I am sorry if i missunderstood your first question, I thought you simply meant that she didnt play with her wood chews.

Due to the new information about the teeth I would advise you to get them checked out as miss-aligned teeth can sometimes cause problems eating.

I am sure she would be happy with a piggy friend but I dont think will have any affect on her teeth issue so please get this checked. Your vet will be able to file the long tooth down if neccesary without any anesthetic.

QUESTION: well i have new info... just yesterday she lost one of her bottom teeth wat do i do????????? and she grinds them alot

The grinding doesnt worry me too much but the loss of the tooth needs checking. It probably isnt too serious as long as your piggy can still eat. The tooth will grow back.

Get a qualified professional to check the teeth out and their alignment. I could do this for you, but as I am not there with you to see your piggy I cant.
