guinea pigs eyes.

Not long ago (about 5 days to a week ago), pus started coming out of one of my three guinea pigs left eye, he was living in the house then by the way. This has not occurred before and since then it hasn't either. The pus came out for about a minute then stopped. We did what most pet owners would do, clean it of his face. Then I decided to ask what it was online, what i suspected and what most of them said was that it was probably either an eye infection or it was allergic to something.

yes that is the most probable, usually with the eye it is something to do with dusty stuff, most commonly hay or saw dust particles getting in the eye, when the pus came out it got rid of the particle and so no more pus comes out, nine times out of ten this is the cause.
