new Born pups

Our female guniea has jus had babies.  What is the best source of vitamin C to give the mother.  We have been told that Spring Greens are good for her milk.  Is there anything else we can give her?

Hello Sarah and Aaron,

Kale is one of my favorite sources of Vitamin C and Calcium (2 things they need) for nursing mothers and pups because it has both but it is related to cabbage so you have to be careful as some piggies will bloat if given too much. I'll send you a link with the list of various veggies piggies can have that has the high in vitamin c veggies listed in their own section. Veggies are by far the best way to give piggies vitamin c. Congratulations on the new pups!
