Guinea Pig in Pain?

My 1 year old pig has recently been making whimpering noises when he raises his rump as if going to the toilet (sometimes he actually is and sometimes he isn't). A couple of times he has whimpered for quite some time and his body has been shaking. Could he be constipated?

Its more likely that he is having discomfort whilst passing water as they lift their rump when they pee not when they poop.

Please consult your vet as a urinary tract infection is the most likely problem which will need antibiotics.
