how did he die?

my guinea pig has ben acting weird for about a week now. he fluffed up alot and  hasent ben his usual noisy self. he seemed to be breathing a bit heavier then normall.then to day about 4pm i came home and he was dead. i don't no how he died. a few days ago i called pet smart. (were i bought him a month ago)they said he was ok he just wanted attention, because he only squeaked wen i picked him up. thats not normal for him to do that. it was kinda like if u touched his neck area it was hurting him or somthing.but the people said he was bonding with us.im very sad about this could u please help me.please write back to kklina55@yahoo.com thank u!

i'm so sorry that your guinea pig died. It sounds like she had a serious respiratory infection and if he was squealing when you picked him up, something else might have been going on as well. I honestly couldn't be for sure what was truly going on with your guinea pig, the only thing you could have done was take him to the vet. I am so sorry for your loss and don't feel bad because it's not your fault that this happaned.
