Poor Harley

Question
I have had Harley for about a year now, and I assume that he was a year or two when I had bought him. However, last night while getting ready to feed him I noticed his eye didnt look right and when I took him to the vet this morning I found out that his eye had ruptured. Now I am only a college student who works about a 20 hour week and I know for a fact there is no way Ill be ablen to afford surgery to remove his eye, and while this kills me to write, do you think if the eye drops he was perscribed do not work it be best if I put him down?

I feel very sorry for you and your guinea pig

Try to use the drops and see if there is not any improvement and you cant afford surgery, it might be bes to put him down and put him out of suffering if it maked you feel any better one of my guinea pigs had a bad eye to and sadly he was put to sleep,
But in his memory i got a new baby one and named it the same and it gave me a bit of comfort over my guinea pigs death

I no how hard these thing are but it is up to you to decide
