Is my piggy ready to come out of her cage?

I just got a piggy less about a week ago. Although, she no longer runs when we get near. She did bite my 8 year old 2 days ago when she tried to pet her. Can I try to hold her now? or should I wait?

Giving your lone piggy attention is very important, give her lots of attention! She was either tasting your child or your child may have pet a sensitive place or maybe the piggy felt like it was in danger or your child could have been moving too fast.
