i bhought a guinea pig a couple of weeks ago (male) i thought he was lonely so last week went out and bought another male and a larger cage, the first one i bought seems to be mounting and biting the new 1 quite often, i was womdering if this is terrotorial behaviour and is it something i need 2 worry about

I thnk yoi may hvae a female, as it goes males should never be in the same cage wiht other males.  They willeventually fight to the death.  Ihave had many of these questions.  If yoi bought the pigs in a pet shop, sometimes they sell males for females or vice versa.  Check the genitilia of both to see if they match,.  I would give each a seperate cage where they can next to one another and hvae company that way. Guinea pigs do not play with one another,.
