i have a guinea pig and am getting two more in mid june, The two new guineas are currently being feed on gerty guinea, however the previous owner of my current guinea said this food can cause health problems, Is this true?? what should i feed my guineas?

Gerty Guinea Pig is widely regarded as the best dry food that can be bought in UK and elsewhere. It contains everything a piggy needs (apart from fresh veggies of course) so I know of no reason why the other guy would tell you this.

Has the guy told you what the potential health problems are or given you an alternative dry feed he recommends?

Gerty is perfectly fine so please continue to use it.
