breathing issues/stuffed up nose

Hi, I wanted to find if there was a way to clean out a stuffy nose.  My vet gave me Neo-Synephrine decongestant nasal drops. I read on one of the previous questions that the owner had cleaned the gp's nose. I am not sure how to do that.  My GP is really struggling w/ his breathing.  His mouth looks blue. I think he is really clogged up.  he is also on Baytril to treat a URI (we`have seen the vet 2x's since Thursday).  Just wondering if you can recommend anything else.  Not sure if I can dab Vic's in addition to the drops to help him breath.  He is only 6 mo. old.  Thanks

you can certainly put a dab of Vicks on his nose to help him breathe.
Also check his bedding, he could be allergic to dusty hay.
I would bed him out on newspaper sheets with shredded newspaper as bedding of possible. Its safe for piggies as the ink used nowadays is soya based and will not harm him if he eats it.
Keep on with the Baytril as it is very good stuff but be aware that it could affect his appetite and it might upset his gut flora. Make sure he is still eating as much as usual and give plenty of dark green cabbage for extra vit C.
