seperation

Hi.I have 1 pig that's several months old and I just bought another that's about 4 weeks old.The dealer said we should keep them seperate for a while,but did'nt specify just how long.he older one is a male,while the younger is a female.Thank you for your help

Unless you want babies then i would keep the seperate for a while now
The female is way to young at 4 weeks she has just come off mums milk
you will either have to wait a couple of months or spay the male.
If you want them just as freinds maybe by another male guinea pig
