I need help again

I had to take the young piggy back to the Petsmart,he was getting sick and I got a phone call from them later that night,telling me he was alittle sick and the vet gave him eye drops and something for his runny nose.If he gets better,will I need to keep him away from my older piggy for 2weeks again? I have a 2nd question,keeping the young piggy in a aquarium for 2wks,will that be ok for him to stay temporary?What's the health reason behind it,if I can't keep him there.

yes you will need to quarantine him for two weeks again, but you shouldn't use an aquarium, not enough ventilation for air. he would have a harder time with breathing. in all honesty i would wait until after jan. 1 to buy another guinea pig, for the main reason that this is the worst season to animals because so many people come in to look at them and so many kids are loud and bang on the glass that it stresses them out so badly and comprimises their immune system.
