sebaceous cyst

I am not exactly sure what causes sebaceous cyst and haven't been able to find out what causes them as well. They are basically big pockets of fluid under the skin and sometimes come to the surface.To get rid of the cyst you have a few options, you can drain the cyst that pops to the surface and put antibiotic ointment on to keep it from being infected. The best option though to treat the cysts are to take your guinea pig to a vet and have the vet take care of the cyst since a lot of time draining the cyst yourself can cause infections. The vet is the best option for treatment though.
