Old Age or something else?

My piggy Harmony is at the grand old age of 7. But last night i heard alot of struggling from here home and found her on her back unable o get up. I thought she had a stroke like her grandpa had died from but she doesnt seem to be paralysed in anyway.  She seem to be her usual self but still a bit worried.

Your piggy certainly is getting up there in years. It concerns me that she wasn't able to get up on her own. Most guinea pigs can flop over on their sides and roll onto their feet. However, if a guinea pig has had a stroke, usually the won't be able to move one side of their body. If you are concerned about your pig at all, taking her to the vet would certainly be teh best course of action. He can give her a complete health check and put your mind at ease.
